What to See and Do

The village is compact and best explored on foot. King Street is lined with independent retailers selling quilts, pottery, furniture, and local food. The Mennonite Story visitor centre gives good context on the community and history of the area. Horse-drawn buggies still pass through regularly — a reminder that this is a working Mennonite community, not a theme park.

Where to Eat

Several good spots for lunch or a coffee. The Stone Crock is the local institution — a buffet-style restaurant that has been feeding visitors for decades. For something lighter, the bakeries along King Street are worth a stop.
